Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for her, and Smoking does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Smoking hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Smoking alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ratbag fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
