Conrad decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and to find somewhere to settle down

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Godfrey is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and regain custody of her daughter

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Rathkran took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
