History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
