History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Alex's homeland. Alex decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now owns his own business.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. She keeps her silver hair in a pixie cut. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Vani isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Vani was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: This late middle aged woman prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady and is in decent physical shape. She wears her blonde hair down. Her eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has achieved small success as a Healer.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his rapier with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Tethren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tethren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy; and wants to work out more often

Description: This slender man stands about 5'11". He wears dull brown sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hammer, just in case. His cinnamon fur, when down, is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Shivering was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Gardener. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: Standing 6'1", this man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His blue crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gold eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and a deep hatred of orcs

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Emerald was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bounty Hunter. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
