His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Kipper is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Ulfgar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and wants her loneliness to end

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Quarion was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Quarion alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: Great was born with her father's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is content.

Description: This tall, slender woman very much looks the part of a Fisher. Her hair is purple and curly. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up work as a Fisher and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a greatsword on his belt. His brown hair is thinning but still full. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content
