History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Healer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nala was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born in the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Laucian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Laucian. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Sun lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Adventurer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second son.

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He got into the Bowyer business at a young age. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
