Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Myathethil enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shamash grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shamash. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
