History: Born in the east to a Sellsword, Shadow learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: He was born into a rich family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
