History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: He comes from a rich southern family. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heskan was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Charles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He's in love; and doesn't want to be a farmer and was forced into it by his family

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with tan slacks. Her golden hair is greasy and uncared for. Her violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Ownka liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
