Description: She dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with pastel slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'4" when asserting herself. Her blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.
History: The child of a Roofer, who enjoyed hunting, Veloptima was taken on many hunting expeditions. She worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. She bought a pickaxe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. She is an epitome of beauty. Her long brown hair reaches down to her waist. She has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.
Personality: Nora hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Nora liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His white fur is thinning but still full. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Windy embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Windy was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Windy decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Pijjirik was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pijjirik fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man is very fat, and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting brigands, the young Gurdis began to lead the lost caravan. History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Enna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She became a Tanner soon after.
