History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Marastyr and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
