History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Drifting alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sellsword for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new sellsword responsibilities is difficult
