History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Leaf has worked very hard to control her curse. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: The child of a Unemployed, who enjoyed hunting, Smoking was taken on many hunting expeditions. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aura fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. She has achieved small success as a Stylist.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Damien learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Scribe profession.
