History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Quarion lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Glassblower work with an outfit from a few towns over. Glassblower work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Glassblower job and began his own company from there.

When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Buvvie's homeland. Buvvie decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Tawna is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered dire rats who tried to eat her hand. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Jeweler, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Sybil hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nykkan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nykkan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Caeldrim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. One day when Caeldrim was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Caeldrim was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them.
