History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered goblins who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Igden isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Courier profession.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
