Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Herbalist and found it very stressful. He tends to his Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. Her white hair is well kept. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for her, and Melissa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Melissa reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she feels kind of lost in life

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
