Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She uses divination through singing.
History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Mella liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to end her boredom

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Matilda has worked very hard to control her curse. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
