History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Erevan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Smoking was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Sage. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

History: Mozikth was born the youngest of three triplets. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Tiefling compassion; and doesn't want to be a mercenary and was forced into it by his family

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his morningstar, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His tied-back hair is golden. Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Barkeep, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Uthemar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Uthemar. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture
