She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Miller, and she later adopted a second son.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
