History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Nala learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Scribe for the past few years.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Therlin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
