History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Halander took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barber. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in the west to a Roofer, Myev learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She struck the Roofer job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Serpent lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Carpenter, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
