History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 6'9" and wears a worn and beaten armor. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarana grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Cartwright and occasionally as a mercenary.
