He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Jak hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Ur-Edin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ur-Edin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.
