Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Pijjirik was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Mason and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mardnab embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
