Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Adrik was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Adrik's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Broce and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
