History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Gunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

After coming to the age of reason, Dondon took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
