Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his father before him.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Verna took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor she uses now. She bought a pickaxe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
