History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Sumnes lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Sumnes was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Animal Trainer. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

She is a dedicated Detective but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Gildmak has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
