Personality: Salanop is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a Sailor, her father struggled to pay the bills. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now mingles about in high society.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Sporting a red mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and money/treasure

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and balancing her hectic life and new gardener responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. A freak accident while working with his Map Maker mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
