History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: Hugolina hails from a village terrorized by giants. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is a Bowyer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Bowyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Matilda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stylist. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Gaaki was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Born to a Cook, her father struggled to pay the bills. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Jarana has worked very hard to control her curse. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Cressel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
