Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: Emen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Syllin and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He wears dull pastel sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed ceremonial dagger, just in case. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His cinnamon fur is lengthy. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Art does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: An older man who typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor, he is not a threatening figure. He has shaved his head bald. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Vonbin began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in a small island village. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Veloptima took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor she uses now. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
