History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
