History: Gifted from a young age, Faran studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Diesa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Shamash and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Rivaan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
