History: Shadow was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Savaran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Savaran. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a Priest, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Hecat was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hecat's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
