History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His childhood dream was to be a Detective, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Fortune-teller like his father before him.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Unemployed. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman likes to wear ponchos typically of a light red in addition to tight pants. She wears her brown hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Harriet lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Harriet took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up whip and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She got into the Knight business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Herleva grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Herleva. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
