Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Naeris liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has worked as a Shoemaker like his mother before him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: She was born in the west. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she feels threatened by others

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Painter. He has achieved small success as a Painter.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Harriet was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Marshal. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
