History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Erky grew up listening to his father's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture
