Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Abalaba reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat, and is pretty ugly. He wears his dark red hair up. His eyes are likewise red.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Fenriz was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Fenriz decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Guard business.
History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Through the years after Lewis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lewis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by his family
