Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Althaea embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
