His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.
