History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and wants to open a new tavern

From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mason they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Soapmaker, and she later adopted a second son.
