The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born in the north to a Apothecary, Mella learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Mella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. During her travels, Mella and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Mella discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Mella fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder.
