History: Verna was born with her father's beautiful face. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Being a Painter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in the north to a Crown-heir, Efferil learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: Born in the east to a Tailor, Lia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Baelitae was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town.
