History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Artin took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Artin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Silvo was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Silvo grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Silvo. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. During her travels, Egelina and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Egelina discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Egelina fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he tends to wear a large violet jacket. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. A true patriot, Ivellios would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His first spouse was a Mason, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Barrister. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
