History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Egelina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Egelina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Heartbroken, Paelias never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
