History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Pennie's homeland. Pennie decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.
