History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: River was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, River never married again.
