In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Trey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Layabout soon after.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Nazû's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Nazû hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.
