She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: Tûmhom is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Tûmhom is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Tûmhom was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Tûmhom alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by drow. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a deep hatred of drow

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veloptima grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Through the years after Veloptima was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Veloptima's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born in the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Therlin and her spouse have recently divorced.
