History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Soapmaker. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student she started as a Layabout, but she got bored and became a Soapmaker. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Soapmaker, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
